Courses & Masterclasses
LaDotta offers courses on university level, from very basic to advanced and even courses for non-university professionals — none of which require particular pre-course knowledge.
The masterclasses goes into some depth on a particular issue, event or case. The main objective is to contextualise it, de- and reconstruct the politics involved and offer a peace research perspective on it.
Coaching & Mentorship
LaDotta offers short-term coaching, i.e. help with specific problem solving, as well as mentorship, a long-term commitment for personal development.
We do not offer supervision to students, but may help students as well as seasoned researchers to think creatively around their subject of interest.

LaDotta Community offers a space for replenishment and inspiration, learning and growing together with others who are pro-peace.

MY VISION
To inspire and empower those who want change
I want to help people around the world develop a sense of hope for a better world, one better educated person at the time. I want to show people that it is possible to think, speak and do politics of peace differently. To inspire people and empower them for change — to help them become the change they desire.
LaDotta means ‘the learned.’ The ultimate goal is to make us all learned on the politics of peace.
I am convinced that war is un-necessary, and that cooperation trumps war. 30 years of research and teaching peace, development and interstate relations have confirmed that war is a choice not a given.
Courses & Masterclasses

The courses offered by LaDotta are university level, but do not require particular pre-course knowledge. There are no required readings and no diplomas .
Courses do come with a reading list but there is no expectation connected to it, and there are no tests and grading — only knowledge to gain for your own benefit.
Coaching & Mentorship
Sometimes we need someone to talk to. When faced with a challenge we have to tackle to be able to move on, to corroborate a thought, in search of inspiration or just require a little assuring push to do what we really want to do. Whether you are peace professional or just a regular citizen, coaching might help you get moving. Coaching is ideal for students, in need of a quick check or a brainstorming of ideas, and for seasoned researchers in need of a relatively quick entry point, literature suggestions or theme-based lecture plans.
Mentorship however is intended for those who for different reasons want to have long-term support or a sounding board for processes of change or drawn-out transition periods. LaDotta is available for personal development, when transitioning from a life style based on colonial structures of economic violence, to peaceful ways of organising life — and for the professionals seeking long-term change in

It is sometimes a bit lonely being pro-peace when social, political and media pressures tell you that peace is ridiculous or even dangerous. LaDotta provides a space where pro-peace is the norm, not the oddity.
We but mirror the world. All the tendencies present in the outer world are to be found in the world of our body. If we could change ourselves, the tendencies in the world would also change. As a man changes his own nature, so does the attitude of the world change towards him. This is the divine mystery supreme. A wonderful thing it is and the source of our happiness. We need not wait to see what others do.

LaDotta offers hands-on practical courses for pro-peace personal and professional transformation of everyday life from frustrated consumer to educated citizen helping you become the change you want to happen.
This course stays true to that idea, and aims at helping you begin your journey from frustrated news consumer to an active news analyst creating your own network of reliable news, analyses, facts and information.
However, LaDotta also offers academic level courses in peace theory, peace journalism, resistance, post- and decolonial theory, social science methodology, from archaeology & genealogy, to narrative analysis and content analysis.
